    Job Description
    Position Summary:
    The Research Assistant works with the supervisor to perform research study tasks and analyze data as delegated by the Principal Investigator. The person in this position will be an integral part of the research teams and interact directly with study participants. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in neuroimaging, orthopedics (athletic training, physical therapy) biomechanics, or related project experience.

    1)Plan and performs experiments
    2)Confers with supervisor regarding tasks to be performed and recommends modifications, if necessary.
    3)Makes statistical calculations, analyzes data, prepares reports summarizing results and conducts literature reviews to obtain abstracts and information to be utilized in research.
    4)Monitors and maintains specialized lab or research equipment, supplies and materials

    Minimum Qualifications
    Minimum Qualifications:
    a. Earned bachelor’s in clinical or applied neuroscience, biomechanics or kinesiology, exercise science or physiology, athletic training, physical therapy or other related fields.
    b. Effective interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with others.

    Preferred Qualifications
    Preferred Qualifications:
    a. Licensure in athletic training, physical therapy or related medical discipline.
    b. Earned Master’s of Science degree in the following areas of study: clinical or applied neuroscience, biomechanics or kinesiology, athletic training or physical therapy, engineering and exercise physiology, and other related fields.
