Vector Scientific, Inc. (VSI) is looking for an entry level biomechanical engineer. This forensic biomechanics position is best suited for a person with a background and/or experience in the area of our company’s core expertise, which primarily involves occupant injury biomechanics in motor vehicle collisions. However, persons without automotive impact injury biomechanics experience but a strong background in other applications of injury biomechanics will be considered.

Degree Requirements and Qualifications:
- B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Biomechanical/Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanics/Kinesiology, or a closely related science.
- Background and/or experience preferred in automobile impact injury biomechanics such as vehicle collision dynamics, occupant kinematics, occupant injury biomechanics, and restraint system use and effectiveness.
- Successful persons in this career possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills; the ability to work as part of a team and independently; are self-motivated and self-disciplined; have outstanding oral and written communication skills; able to interact effectively with technical and non-technical people; have the desire to continue to learn; and have the ability to acquire, integrate, and apply knowledge.
