    Post-Doctoral Fellowship on Advanced Rehabilitation Research Training (ARRT) in Pediatric Mobility for Physicians, Therapists, and Engineers. (HHS/NIDILRR AWARD, 90ARHF0006-01-00)

    The Orthopaedic & Rehabilitation Engineering Center (OREC) in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Marquette University is pleased to announce a new post-doctoral fellowship in pediatric mobility for eligible engineers, therapists and physicians. This program takes advantage of ongoing collaborations among Marquette University, the Medical College of Wisconsin, and Shriners Hospitals for Children, Chicago to train qualified candidates. Fellows selected for the program will receive training to: 1) conduct high quality research; 2) complete a course of didactic and research instruction; and, 3) secure an academic and/or clinical position in rehabilitation research. The in-program work products are publications, presentations at meetings and conferences, and generation of quality proposals. The longer-term products are post-fellowship contributions to the field of pediatric mobility.

    Qualified candidates will have completed a doctoral program in Medicine, Physical Therapy or Engineering with a solid ability to do rehabilitation research.
