    A PhD position is available for Fall 2021 in the Motor learning and Rehabilitation Engineering Lab (MOTRE) directed by Dr. Rajiv Ranganathan. We are interested in issues of motor learning and coordination. Please take a look at the lab website for more information https://sites.google.com/site/motrelab/

    Candidates with a background in human movement or robotics (Kinesiology, Biomedical engineering, Neuroscience, Psychology, Neurorehabilitation or a related field) are encouraged to apply. Prior research experience with human subjects, biomechanical analysis, and MATLAB programming are highly desirable.

    Resources in the lab include an 8-camera motion analysis system (Motion Analysis Corporation, Santa Rosa, CA), a force plate (AMTI, Watertown, MA), wireless EMG (Delsys, Natick, MA), and a bimanual KINARM end point robot (BKIN Technologies, Kingston, ON).
