This is an opportunity to serve those that have served us as a Biomedical Engineer or physiologist with the Research & Surveillance (R&S) Division of the Extremity Trauma & Amputation Center of Excellence (EACE), and located at the Center for the Intrepid (CFI), Brooke Army Medical Center (BAMC) in San Antonio, TX. This person will be an integral member of our research team responsible for operating our biomechanics laboratory, writing and executing data reduction pipelines in Visual3D and Matlab, and developing new measurement methodologies to non-invasively measure tissue health in a residual limb. Key projects this person will be working on will be to biomechanically analyze Military relevant movements and tasks to set the design criteria for our exoskeleton developments and support our developing research projects to define treatments to advance tissue health at the interface between the residual limb and the prosthetic socket.
