    The Neuromuscular Biomechanics Laboratory ( at Montana State University – Bozeman currently has an opening for a graduate student (Ph.D. or M.S.) in the area of biomechanics to start as soon as Spring 2021. This opening is through the Mechanical & Industrial Engineering Department to work on a recently awarded NIH project into cognitive-motor function following ACLR rehabilitation. The project is an interdisciplinary collaboration across engineering, health and human development, and psychology at MSU along with external collaborators at Ohio University.

    Successful applicants will have a B.S. or M.S. degree in mechanical or biomedical engineering. Previous research experience in musculoskeletal biomechanics as well as proficiency in MATLAB, instrumentation, and troubleshooting is preferred.
