Research Assistant - North Chicago, IL
The Department of Physical Therapy Movement Analysis Laboratory at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science is accepting applications for a research assistant position. Current lab projects are aimed at improving the care for individuals with foot and ankle pathology and/or diabetes mellitus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Education, Skills, & Experience:
Bachelor's or master's degree in biomedical engineering, biomechanics, or equivalent degree is required. Must be able to work independently and with a team. Must be willing to learn additional programs for data analysis. Familiarity with motion capture / analysis, inverse dynamic calculations, MATLAB, LabView, and basic research/statistical methodology is preferred. A minimum of one year of rehabilitation related research experience is also preferred.

- Coordinate study and laboratory needs
- Assist in experimental set up and data acquisition
- Data management, analyses, reduction and synthesis
- Report generation and manuscript preparation
