Applications are being accepted for a doctoral graduate assistantship in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation at Old Dominion University (ODU), Norfolk, VA for Fall 2021. The deadline for applications is April 5th, 2021.
This opportunity will focus on assisting with research in the area of falls and balance control in older adults and clinical populations. Potential candidates with backgrounds in neurological rehabilitation, motor control, and/or neurophysiology of posture and falls risk assessment are encouraged to apply.
The Ph.D. in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation at ODU is designed for a broad range of students including those with a kinesiology/exercise science background as well as rehabilitation professionals (i.e., athletic trainers, occupational therapists, physical therapists or speech/language pathologists) who are interested in becoming leaders, teachers and scholars in their respective fields. This interprofessional program features faculty from the College of Health Sciences and the College of Education. The curriculum's core has a broad focus on neurophysiology, motor control and motor learning.
