Highly motivated candidates with particular interest in understanding pathological movement control, pathological neuronal circuits, and functional neuroplasticity in people with Spinal Cord Injury are encouraged to apply. Interested individuals with a recent PhD in Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering in related fields are encouraged to apply. Physical therapists with a PhD in a related field are also encouraged to apply. Previous experience with electrophysiology and/or neurophysiology approaches in humans is desirable.
A Postdoctoral Research Fellow position entails the following tasks
- full time commitment to research,
- take a leading role in the research project,
- contribute to data analysis and take a leading role in presentation of findings at conferences and preparation of manuscripts,
- collaborate with other researchers on this research project,
- direct development, data collection, analysis and implementation relative to research and quality improvement activities,
- develop new projects and new ideas,
- submit fellowships/grants with guidance, support and mentorship by the PI.
