  • Part-Time Lecturer Position for Biomechanics at San Jose State University (San Jose, CA, USA)

    The Department of Kinesiology at San Jose State University (San Jose, CA, USA) is seeking a Part-Time Lecturer in Biomechanics for the 2021-2022 academic year.


    Qualification:
    • M.S. or Ph.D. in Biomechanics or a closely related field.
    • Demonstrated ability to teach classes in biomechanics at the undergraduate level.
    • Teaching experience at the university or college level.


    Responsibilities:
    • Teach KIN 147 Biomechanical Assessment of Movement lecture.
    • Teach KIN 147 Biomechanical Assessment of Movement labs, which involves using 2D and 3D motion analysis, force plates, EMG, accelerometry, dynamometry and goniometry.
    • Candidate should address the needs of a student population of great diversity - in age, cultural background, ethnicity, primary language and academic preparation - through course materials, teaching strategies and advisement.


    Starting Date: August 2021


    Eligibility: Employment is contingent upon proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
