We are currently looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join our dedicated Service Team. To be successful in this role you must have experience and be excited about robotics and technology. We provide superior customer service and problem resolution.
IN THIS POSITION YOU WILL...
- be responsible for technical services in the assigned territory/region.
- conduct installation, provide maintenance, and repair services for assigned markets alone or together with the local sales partners’ technician(s).
- coordinate the service activities in these markets in cooperation with the Service Manager track and submit reporting forms timely (installation and service protocols, timesheets, meeting minutes, etc.).
- answer and document all service calls in customer database, diagnose customer problems and deliver a clear and concise action plan to resolve issues.
- prepare service quotations and maintain proper documentation.
- document, maintain and organize service history associated with all installed systems.
- order and dispatch spare parts to customers.
- ensure that inventory levels are properly maintained.
- ready systems for re-marketing / trials.
- complete in-house repairs (i.e. return & repair of components).
- have a positive and open mindset and easily manage changes.
- have a familiarity with motor driven robotics, electrical device systems and manual therapeutic equipment.
- have a strong customer orientation and clear communication style.
- have a distinctive quality awareness and are ready to achieve outstanding performances.
- are flexible and can thrive under pressure.
- at least 2 years’ experience working with complex medical devices (hardware, software and electronics) preferred.
- training and/or education in electro technical and/or mechanical field.
- high customer focus; strive to solve customer problems in a fast an efficient manner.
- a conscientious, proactive, solution-oriented and self-driven personality.
- excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders/customers.
- a team-oriented personality committed to achieve common goals.
- excellent English language skills (spoken and written), additional foreign language skills are a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
