The INSPIRE Lab at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a highly motivated person for a postdoctoral research position.
The lab offers a highly interdisciplinary research environment composed of physiologists, clinicians, neuroscientists, and engineers. In addition to our primary research program, there will be a number of opportunities to interact and collaborate with faculty in the Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
The ideal candidate will help offer innovation, mentorship, and leadership in the lab and will be able to participate in several ongoing projects, as well as initiate their own line of discovery that aligns with the lab's mission.
Desired qualifications:
- Experience in animal and/or human neurophysiology research. Both are desirable but not required.
- Experience in motion capture and electromyography
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, clinicians, and patients with neuromuscular disease.
- Experience in robotics is a plus, but not required
