We are seeking a post-doctoral researcher to work on an exciting EPSRC funded project to develop image-driven subject-specific spine models. The project is a collaboration between the Biomedical Physics and Biomedical Engineering groups at the University of Exeter and the Biomedical Engineering group at the University of Cardiff. The post would suit you if you have a PhD in a relevant subject and experience in biomechanical testing. The main duties of the post will involve:
  • preparing in vitro spine specimens;
  • performing mechanical testing;
  • assisting with magnetic resonance imaging;
  • analysing the test and image data, including segmentation;
  • contributing to dissemination, impact activities and public engagement.
The post is available as a full-time position, on a fixed-term contract, from 01 Oct 2021 to 30 Sep 2024.
