  • Postdoc Position in Lower Limb Biomechanics and Motor Learning at the UNC/NC State Joint BME Department

    The Neuromuscular Rehabilitation Engineering Laboratory (NREL) within the UNC/NC State Joint Department of Biomedical Engineering invites applications for a Postdoctoral Research Associate in biomechanics and motor learning.
    Required Qualifications
    • A recent Ph.D. degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields.
    • Research experiences in one or more of the following areas: quantitative biomechanical analysis or motor control & learning.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    Additional Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in the rehabilitation of people with lower limb disability, evaluate locomotion balance, and musculoskeletal modeling.
    • Programming skills (MATLAB, C++, LabVIEW, etc.), proficiency in motion capture and analysis, or experience in metabolic measurement.
    • Record of peer-reviewed publications
