A funded PhD position is available for Fall 2022 in the Athletic Injury and Rehabilitation Laboratories (AIR Labs) under the direction of Dr. Matt Harkey. The funded position will involve projects focused on:
  • early osteoarthritis following knee injuries
  • assessing knee structure via ultrasound
  • laboratory and clinical assessments of walking biomechanics
Candidates with a background in human movement (kinesiology, exercise science, biomedical engineering, physical therapy, athletic training, or a related field) are encouraged to apply. Prior research experience with human subjects, gait biomechanics, or musculoskeletal imaging are highly desirable.
