The Movement & Applied Imaging Lab in the Department of Physical Therapy & Athletic Training has an opening for a full-time Lab Manager/Engineer.
The candidate will be responsible for biomechanics data collection and processing for ongoing studies, database management, regulatory approvals and organization, equipment/inventory/budgetary maintenance, quality assurance, recruitment and scheduling, and training/supervision of researchers. Opportunities to contribute to scientific presentations and publications exist for motivated candidates.
Required qualifications:
Person hired must have excellent organizational and communication skills, enjoy working in a team, be willing to take initiative, and be comfortable with building/fixing devices.

- Master’s degree in biomechanics, biomedical engineering, or related field
- Experience with
- human motion capture instrumentation including optical systems (preferably Qualisys) and force platforms for analysis of human motion
- Visual3d programming
- surface EMG instrumentation
- human subjects in research
- REDCap database
- MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
