Job Description
OVERVIEW
Tenure-track position in Exercise Science with expertise in Motor Learning and Biomechanics. Our program is committed to preparing practitioners in Exercise Science, as well as preparing students for graduate studies in Exercise Science/Kinesiology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and other health-related fields. The appointment includes research, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in Exercise Science, and curriculum development. Faculty members are expected to be active scholars, to advise students, and to participate in department, college, and university committees and activities. The successful candidate’s major responsibility will be to teach in Motor Learning and Biomechanics within the graduate and undergraduate exercise science program.
QUALIFICATIONS
Earned doctorate in Motor Learning, Biomechanics or related field, a well-defined research agenda, and evidence of scholarly activities. Demonstration of the potential to secure external funds and evidence of the ability to integrate computer technology into instruction highly are desirable.
