  • Fully funded PhD Position in Sensorimotor Control (Research Assistant)

    We have a fully funded PhD position available in the Sensorimotor Neuroscience Laboratory (https://sites.psu.edu/singhlab) at the Penn State University, University Park, PA.

    The main experimental tool in our laboratory is a KINARM EndPoint robot (https://kinarm.com/). The selected candidate will be working on a project with the KINARM robot, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and EEG.

    Applicants should have:
    1. Either an MS or a BS in one of the following fields: biomedical engineering, neuroscience, biomechanics, motor control, or psychology. Candidates should preferably have completed their MS before August 2022.
    2. Prior research experience with MATLAB/Simulink programming and/or Python.
    3. Demonstrated evidence of strong oral and written communication skills.
    4. Demonstrated evidence of interest or experience in human behavior research.
    5. For international applicants, a minimum score of 100/120 on TOEFL is required.
