  • Funded PhD position with the University of Illinois at Chicago in the Human and Sport Performance Laboratory

    UIC Human and Sport Performance Laboratory (within the Department of Physical Therapy) is looking for a doctoral student beginning Fall 2022 for a fully funded 4-year position. The Department of Physical Therapy is housed within the College of Applied Health Sciences, which is located in the heart of the Illinois Medical District and is a top-ranked program in the United States.

    A successful PhD candidate will have a background in kinesiology, biomechanics, athletic training, or another related health field with a passion for sport performance. Preference will be given to those who have a background in strength and conditioning and currently have their CSCS (certified strength and conditioning specialist with NSCA) so that part of the graduate assistantship will be working with athletics as a strength and conditioning coach.
