12 funded PhD positions in DFG graduate school LokoAssist (deadline: March 20, 2022)
We are inviting applications for PhD positions in the cooperative research training group on “Seamless integration of assistive systems for natural locomotion of humans” funded by the German Research Foundation DFG.
Our research aims at new scientific foundations for a seamless integration of active leg prostheses, orthoses and exoskeletons into the user’s body schema by bringing together novel complementary research perspectives from computer science, biomechanics, engineering, robotics, psychology, and medicine.
As a doctoral candidate you will work in interdisciplinary teams across disciplines in joint laboratories at Technical University of Darmstadt and Heidelberg University. We offer excellent conditions for experimental and theoretical research right from the start embedded in cooperations with leading international research groups, clinical research and companies.
