    100% of UK home tuition fees paid and annual living expenses of £14,553 (full award).

    Summary
    Are you interested in wearable technology and digital health?

    This PhD provides an exciting opportunity to work as part of a research team supporting a Newcastle University Academic Track (NUAcT) Fellowship exploring the use of wearable technology in real-world setting to study medication adherence in people with Parkinson’s disease and its impact on their mobility and motor symptoms.

    The PhD will give the opportunity to collect and analyse clinical and wearable technology data in people with Parkinson’s disease, publishing and presenting key findings from the project.

    The PhD student will be mentored by experienced members of academic staff throughout their term our Translational and Clinical Research Institute and will have the opportunity to benefit from training offered within and outside Newcastle University.
    You will be working with Dr Silvia Del Din in an interdisciplinary group (the Brain and Movement (BAM) Research Group) with an established international reputation in movement analysis and digital health.
