    Hello,

    BTS Bioengineering is a motion analysis company with over 30 years of experience developing innovative movement analysis hardware and software solutions. Our core products are 3D motion capture, wireless EMG, and force plate systems, but we also produce inertial wearable sensors, pressure plates, and virtual reality rehab systems, with clients in clinical, sports, and research fields. Our goal is to not only provide state of the art technologies, but to provide solutions that are clinically focused and provide meaningful information to our clients.

    BTS Bioengineering currently has an opening for a Biomedical Engineer in our Quincy, MA office to be filled as soon as possible. The candidate should be able to interpret 3D biomechanical data, including kinematics, kinetics, and electromyographic data, and be able to relate this data to clinical, sports, and research applications.

    This position gives you the opportunity to gain experience in different fields and the flexibility to tailor the position to your expertise.

    Primary Responsibilities:
    • Support existing customers to maintain/optimize their BTS systems and ensure that everything is working smoothly through technical support.
    • Provide training and installation services to new and existing customers onsite and remotely.
    • Help our customer base to develop new applications and protocols.
    • Provide feedback from customers to our R&D team to improve our products, making them more user friendly and effective.
    • Work together with sales to demonstrate BTS technologies to prospective clients.

    Required Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanics, Mechanical Engineering Physical Therapy, or a related field.
    • Interest in and experience with computer technology (hardware and software).
    • Excellent people skills and comfort interacting with customers from a wide range of backgrounds (researchers, coaches, healthcare professionals, etc.).
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required (10-25% on average).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • US citizen or ability to legally work in the United States.

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Experience with motion capture, EMG, force plate, inertial sensors systems and routines (installation, calibration, data collection and processing, analysis, reporting, etc.).
    • Interpretation of the kinematic, kinetic and physiological data.
    • MS in Biomedical Engineering, Biomechanics, or a related field
