We are hiring! Our team is looking for a Research Analyst and/or Post Doctoral Research Fellow to engage in research focused on understanding functional space requirements for people with disabilities. We anticipate the position to begin in July. The goal of this research is to inform accessibility standards for the built environment across Canada. Required qualifications: Successful candidates will have a MSc or PhD in Public Health, Occupational Sciences, Kinesiology, Architecture or related field. This role requires onsite and community data collection with participants, and the successful candidate should be flexible and adaptable to the needs of research participants. Patient-centered research experience is an asset. The successful candidates will have a strong track record of scholarly achievements for stage of development. Experience collecting lab-based data and/or interviews with human participants would be beneficial. The candidate should have strong written and verbal communication skills, leadership and organizational skills, and be comfortable working in a team. Experience with biomechanical measurement tools (e.g., force plates, motion capture systems) is valuable but not required. This project will require local and regional travel for community-based data collection.
