Job Description
As our Biomechanics and Movement Specialist, you will be a key member of the biomechanics team and have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the patients we serve.
We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about transforming healthcare and designing and optimizing a biomechanics platform in the health and health tech space. Applicants should have demonstrated expertise as it relates to biomechanical and kinematic analysis and data collection and interpretation in clinical and sports medicine environments.
The candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and be execution focused.
You will be passionate about building a strong platform that is consistent and aligned with Limber’s vision. The candidate will work closely with the engineering and clinical team to ensure an optimal platform portraying the best evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities
- Lead in the development and integration of Limber’s motion capture platform
- Analyze and interpret Limber’s exercise library through a biomechanical and kinematic lens
- Collaborate with the clinical team to integrate motion capture and objective data into the clinical decision making process during the course of rehabilitation
- Create a data synthesis model that provides digestible reports for patients and providers
- Implement patient engagement strategies using motion capture technology
Requirements
- Completion of a minimum of a Bachelor’s level degree in Biomechanics or related field
- 3+ years experience in a biomechanics laboratory setting as it relates to the movement analysis of musculoskeletal, orthopedic, and sporting populations
- Detailed understanding of anatomy, biomechanical principles, experimental designs, statistical procedures, injury mechanisms, and sport performance
- Strong background and passion for using objective biomechanical and kinematic data for decision making in clinical environments
- Experience using computer vision technology and motion capture software
- Commitment to clinical guidelines, evidence-based medicine, and research
- Excellent time and project management skills
- Highly organized
- Ability to multitask
- Highly collaborative, innovative, and creative in approaching and accomplishing all work
- Ability to thrive in a start-up, self-motivate, and own projects end-to-end
- Eager to make an impact at a young company addressing the most prevalent chronic condition and the #1 cost driver in healthcare
- Passion for health and wellness
Preferred
- Graduate level degree/PhD in Biomechanics or related field (Kinesiology)
- Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist or similar with related training experience
