    The Department of Biomechanics at the University of Nebraska at Omaha is seeking an individual to provide research and administrative support to a NIH-funded project that investigates the Visual Control of Locomotion in People with Parkinson’s Disease under the leadership of Dr. Carolin Curtze.

    Responsibilities will include supporting the collection of gait and balance data, eye tracking, subject recruitment, data management and data analysis, and assistance in writing manuscripts. Experience using inertial motion sensors and eye-tracking glasses, and the ability to process raw data is preferred.



    The University of Nebraska at Omaha (UNO) invites applications for a Research Coordinator position. This position is in the Department of Biomechanics, which is housed in the Biomechanics Research Building (BRB).The main duties of the Research Coordinator are to provide research and administrative support to a NIH-funded project that investigates the visual control of locomotion in people with Parkinson’s disease under the leadership of Dr. Carolin Curtze. The Research Coordinator will be responsible for general administrative and technical duties along with specific responsibilities related to human movement biomechanics. These include, but are not limited to: recruiting, scheduling, and screening subjects; set-up and operation of equipment during data collections with human subjects; processing and analyzing biomechanical data and data entry; organizing data for presentation and achieving purposes.This position is funded by a grant through 12/31/2022 with possible renewal based on funding and performance.
