Associate Product Development Specialist
Job Description
The Associate Product Development Specialist manages and drives specific product development projects by learning, adhering to, and improving Bertec’s Design and Development process for medical and sports performance engineering devices and software. A challenging role, you will gain deep knowledge of product development methods and skills as well as a thorough understanding of how technology can support movement science and human performance. The Associate Product Development Specialist interacts with product managers, customers, multiple disciplines of engineering, manufacturing, as well as sales and marketing teams.

Work Environment
Bertec allows a flexible work-from-home policy. New employees will typically work in the office as they are trained and brought up to speed on their job as well as Bertec products and policies. After that point, work from home varies based on job function and responsibilities. In-office work will mainly be performed at Bertec HQ. May occasionally require (3-5 per year) domestic and international travel to academic, customer, conference, or commercial sites.

Essential Job Functions
- Drive product planning and release through the internal Design and Development process
- Prioritize and coordinate engineering efforts and documentation to fulfill product design requirements
- Develop and execute detailed timelines for initiatives.
- Analyze data and research for market/customer insight
Qualifications
- Love of technology for movement health and performance science
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Movement Science, or equivalent
- 0-2 years of professional experience in product or project management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills
- Excellent clear and concise written and verbal communication
- Self-disciplined with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Empathy towards colleagues, customers, and partners

- Starting Salary based on skills and experience
