Edge Hill University, located 30 minutes outside of Liverpool in the North West of England, have an exciting fully funded PhD/GTA position in Clinical Biomechanics available for a February 2023 start.
We are seeking applicants to continue to grow our portfolio of work on functional recovery following total hip and/or knee replacement. Specifically, we are interested in further understanding the pre- and/or post-operative factors which influence the rate and magnitude of functional recovery following joint replacement.
Edge Hill Universities biomechanics laboratory has access to a 10 camera Qualisys motion capture system, 2 synchronised force platforms, a 16 channel Delsys EMG system and an isokinetic dynamometer.
