  • PhD position at Michigan State University

The Sensorimotor Development Lab (SDLab) is seeking highly motivated students for a PhD position with an emphasis in motor development, motor learning or developmental psychology.

The focus of the SDLab is in the area of motor development throughout the lifespan, specifically in the context of how infants and young children learn to interact with the surrounding environment. We use a combination of both quantitative (3D kinematics using motion capture cameras and IMUs ) and qualitative techniques (video coding) to answer these questions.

We will be inviting selected prospective doctoral students on an expense-paid trip to visit the Department of Kinesiology at Michigan State University. Please visit the website for information:

If you are interested in applying to the graduate program, please contact Dr. Mei-Hua Lee ( with a CV and a goals statement. Please also visit the lab website ( ) for more information. Applications for the Doctoral Visitation Program must be completed by October 7, 2022.
