The Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University in University Park, Pennsylvania, USA is pleased to invite applications for multiple tenure-track/tenured positions anticipated in mechanical engineering at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor levels. Specific research areas of interest include but are not limited to: high temperature materials with applications in turbomachinery, combustion, and nuclear systems; multi-scale thermal characterization of materials; low-carbon, clean fuel energy systems; energy storage and battery systems; experimental fluid mechanics; robotics; mechanobiology; human-machine interface; and advanced manufacturing of flexible electronics and devices.
Screening of applicants will begin on October 1, 2022, and applications submitted at least through the month of October will be considered.
