Our first-to-market technology has a wide range of applications for injury management, performance optimization, and the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions.     Springbok processes and analyzes magnetic resonance imaging data to develop advanced analytics of skeletal muscle to inform performance enhancement and rehabilitation in patients. Located in Charlottesville, VA, Springbok’s technology was initially developed from a collaboration between several academic labs at the University of Virginia more than 10 years ago, and the company launched formal commercialization efforts in 2020. The company has been funded by private investment and governmental and foundational funding and is growing rapidly.

    Position Summary

    This is an entry-level position. As a segmentation analyst, you are part of and support the product team to process and analyze magnetic resonance imaging data to develop advanced analytics of skeletal muscle. Duties for this role include:
    • Receive and process MR scans
    • Upload finalized analyses to the Springbok Interactive Viewer Platform
    • Develop segmentation atlases for research and development efforts
    • Maintain and organize segmentation resources and manuals
    • Collaborate with product team members on ongoing enhancements to the segmentation workflow and analysis platform
    • Perform quality control measures to ensure accurate data analysis
    • Analyze and test the Company’s tools, systems, and applications for software enhancements and new products including cloud-based or internet-related tools
    • Engage with customers as needed to ensure imaging protocols are integrated and properly acquired

    Education & Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Biomedical Engineering, Sports Medicine, or related field
    • Background in orthopedics, anatomy, and/or physiology preferred
    • Python coding experience preferred
    • Prior experience working with MRI data preferred
