PhD Student Opening – Rehabilitation Sciences, University of Utah
A fully funded PhD position is available in the College of Health at the University of Utah. The student will enroll in the Rehabilitation Sciences PhD program and will conduct research in the area of clinical orthopedic biomechanics under the supervision of Dr. Stephan Bodkin. The PhD student will join a research team in collaboration with the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery to assess return to sport outcomes in patients following common orthopedic injuries.

Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a graduate degree in Kinesiology/Biomechanics/Athletic Training/Physical Therapy
- Graduate school GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; proficiency in English
Desired Qualifications
- Board certified Athletic Trainer or Physical Therapist
- Completion of a graduate thesis or capstone research project
- Experience with human subject research
