Candidates with background in biomedical engineering, neurophysiology, motor control, or related area are encouraged to apply. Potential areas of research training include:
  • Neurophysiological assessment of neurological impairments in clinical population
  • Application of cutting-edge neuromodulation using transcranial magnetic stimulation, transcranial direct current stimulation, and transcutaneous electrical stimulation as rehabilitation intervention.
  • Neuroimaging data acquisition and analysis in combination with neuronavigation system
  • Assessment of neurological impairments with biomechanical methods such as synergy analysis of kinetic/kinematic data.
We expect this person to be self-motivated, work well with other team members, and have good verbal and written communication skills. Individuals with experience in MATLAB will be highly preferred. The position is for a minimum of one year, with renewal dependent on performance and continued availability of funding. Salary is commensurate with credentials.
