The University of Maryland Neuromechanics Research Core seeks a Postdoctoral Fellow for a Department of Defense-funded study on the biomechanics of walking with osseointegrated lower limb prostheses, supervised by Dr. Ross Miller. The fellowship is available for up to three years starting in July 2023 at an initial salary of US$60,000 plus full fringe benefits and an annual +1.5% COLA.
Applicants must have a completed PhD in biomechanics or a related field and must relocate to the Washington, DC metro area. Well-qualified candidates will have doctoral-level experience with OpenSim and/or experimental gait analysis of individuals with limb loss.
