Biomedical/Mechanical Engineer Position Available!
Position: Engineer; Full time. Emphasis on biomechanics and neural control of walking.

Location: Malcom Randall Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Gainesville, Florida
Seeking a Biomedical or Mechanical Engineer (or comparable) with experience in biomechanics to join our research team. This position is highly collaborative and will involve extensive interaction with human research participants, scientists, multi-disciplinary faculty from the University of Florida, post-doctoral associates, and students in the areas of biomechanics, engineering, neuroscience, rehabilitation, geriatrics, and more. Preferred candidates will have prior experience with three-dimensional motion analysis and strong programming skills in Matlab. Excellent interpersonal skills and written/verbal communication are required.
Gainesville is located in North Central Florida, within a 2-hour drive of Orlando, Tampa, and Jacksonville. Gainesville is certified by the Arbor Day Foundation as a ‘Tree City’ and has abundant options for enthusiasts of outdoor activities (hiking, bicycling, swimming, boating, fishing, kayaking, and more).
