The University of Colorado Physical Therapy Program invites applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellow. This term-limited appointment will include research opportunities in the Interdisciplinary Movement Science Laboratory (IMSL) and teaching responsibilities in the Movement Science course series (e.g., kinesiology, biomechanics, motor control/motor learning). There are also opportunities to provide program support for the Hybrid Campus at UCCS and the PhD Program in Rehabilitation Science at the Anschutz Medical Campus.
The successful applicant will conduct funded research in the area of rehabilitation sciences, with an opportunity to collaborate at both the Anschutz Medical Campus and Colorado Springs Campus. The fellow will also work closely with other investigators from the Department of Bioengineering, Eastern Colorado Geriatric Research Education and Clinical Center, and other clinical research partners within the CU System.
Candidates must have earned a non-clinical doctoral degree (PhD preferred). Candidates with previous academic experience and teaching experience are preferred. The position is available beginning Summer Semester 2023. Senior faculty mentorship will be provided to the successful applicant, and opportunities for limited clinical practice are available for fellows with a clinical degree/license.
