The Motion Analysis Research Lab at Binghamton University houses sophisticated equipment for conducting human-movement research focused on improving the health and quality of life for residents of the Southern Tier and beyond. Known as the MARL, the 1,600-square-foot facility provides faculty researchers with the tools to perform detailed evaluations on how individuals move. These assessments aid physical and occupational therapists in identifying and addressing mobility issues resulting from injury, disease and aging.
We are seeking a postdoctoral associate to provide support on multiple research projects within the MARL. The successful candidate will contribute to ongoing projects related to dual-task balance and cognitive performance following concussion as well as assist in the development and support of iOS and Android smartphone applications. The individual will further be expected to help mentor students, write proposals, and submit publications in relevant peer-reviewed journals.
