The Alfred E. Mann Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at the University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering is currently seeking a lecturer for our undergraduate Orthopaedic Biomechanics course for the fall semester.

The Alfred E. Mann Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering seeks candidates for a teaching position (Part-Time Lecturer) to teach courses in BME. Competitive candidates will have the training and experience necessary to teach effectively in a highly-ranked Biomedical Engineering department that advances undergraduate students through an accredited BS degree program and graduate students enrolled in MS and PhD programs.
Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of orthopedic biomechanics, such as anatomical structures, bone remodeling, fracture fixations, joint replacement, and clinical practice.
This is a position with a strong teaching focus; all candidates are expected to have a proven commitment to teaching. Part-Time Lecturers will spend the majority of their time on teaching and teaching-related duties. Qualified candidates should have a doctoral degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field by the date of appointment.
The core salary range for this position is $3,476 - $3,650 per unit. This is a part-time position.
