The Neuro-Mechanical Modeling & Engineering Lab (NMEL) (http://bit.ly/NMLab) is seeking for a creative and motivated PhD candidate to work as part of the recently funded Horizon EuropeProject S.W.A.G: Soft Wearable Assistive Garments for Human Empowerment.
This is a full-time opening for a 4-year PhD candidate to work on biological joint impedance modelling with an emphasis on the biomechanical modelling of joint stiffness and damping during natural movements including walking. The PhD opening is also focused on the use of such models for the real-time control for lower limb soft wearable robots.
