  • Postdoc in Musculoskeletal Health and Biomechanics

    Dr. Angelica Lang’s research team in the Department of Medicine at the University of Saskatchewan is seeking applicants for a postdoctoral fellow as a part of a project in upper limb musculoskeletal health and clinical biomechanics. The successful candidate will have considerable experience in research project management and in a biomechanics laboratory, including working with study participants, and collecting, processing and analyzing data. Experience with analytic and statistical software (e.g. MATLAB, SPSS) is preferred. The PDF will work as part of a team to investigate biomechanics of the shoulder in breast cancer survivors and other shoulder pathology groups.

    Requirements:
    • A PhD in biomechanics, kinesiology, rehabilitation sciences, or a related field. Other combinations of educational qualifications and work experience may be considered.
    • Experience working in biomechanical data acquisition and analysis
    • Strong oral and written communication skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as work with a team
    • Teaching/working with students is an asset
