Postdoctoral position in the application of AI, CV in sports biomechanics, Ningbo University, Ningbo, China
The Faculty of Sports Science at Ningbo University is looking to recruit postdoctoral fellows for an interdisciplinary sports biomechanics research program coordinated and supervised by Professor Yaodong Gu. Postdoc positions are initially based on the application of Artificial Intelligence, Computer Vision in sports biomechanics, etc.
The successful candidates will be based at Ningbo University, in direct vicinity to the Research Academy of Human Biomechanics and other interdisciplinary departments. We host a state-of-the-art virtual reality and motion capture lab, and collaboration partners in this endeavor are based at the Faculty of Engineering, University of Szeged and ANTA Sports Science Lab, ANTA Sports Products Limited.
Ningbo University is an internationally leading research university, providing an intellectually stimulating environment. At Ningbo University, postdoctoral salaries start at around 42,000 USD/year depending on prior post-doctoral experience. The positions are always available from now on. An initial appointment for a two-year period will be made with the potential for extension depending on the successful performance of research and publications.
