We have a funded PhD student position available in the BEARCAT lab in the Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering at the University of Cincinnati, Cincinnati, OH, USA.
The position is available to start Fall semester of 2024. The BEARCAT (Biomechanics, Engineering, & Advanced Robotics for Creating Assistive Technology) lab aims to empower independent living via research in assistive devices and rehabilitation robotics. We aim to combine research expertise in robotics, biomechanics, machine learning, and user-centered design to develop solutions that fit the needs of individuals with spinal cord injury, stroke, cerebral palsy, etc.
