We are looking for someone with an interest in neuromuscular physiology and with an expertise in the techniques traditionally adopted in this field. We for instance use in the lab: MUNE, HD-EMG, Ultrasound and we regularly collect muscle samples in many experiments to complement our data with muscle signaling analysis performed by our international collaborators. We use models of inactivity such as ULLS, bed rest and we have a strong interest in aging, training and neuromuscular adaptability.
Responsibilities:
Overall coordination of the project, participant recruitment, data collection, data processing and analysis, generation of reports and manuscripts
Knowledge & Experience:
- Phd or Master in Neuroscience, Biomechanics, Kinesiology, Bioengineering, Motor/Sport science or closely related fields
- A solid understanding of the principles of neuromuscular physiology
- Excellent analytical skills and coding ability (MATLAB and/or Python)
- Experience in signal processing and conducting data analytics and statistics
- A track record of research publications
- Ability to work independently, highly organized, attention to detail, and ability to work with others to develop and maintain a productive work environment
- Excellent written and oral language communication skills (English)
The position is open until filled. This is an 18 months appointment. Preferred start date: May 2024.
