  • Post-Doc Researcher in muscle mechanics of cerebral palsy (Liverpool, UK)

    We are advertising a 2-year Post-Doctoral Researcher position to work on the exciting project “An intelligent ultrasound-based diagnostic tool to decouple neural and structural contributions to reduced joint range of motion in cerebral palsy”.

    The successful candidate will work in a collaborative research team between Liverpool John Moores University and partners in Orthopaedics, Neurology and the Gait Laboratory at Alder Hey Children’s Hospital.
    Through the integration of motion analysis and ultrasound imaging of muscle structure in an artificial neural network analysis to develop a novel diagnostic tool to distinguish between the causes of joint stiffness in children with cerebral palsy.
