The Neuromotor Recovery and Rehabilitation Lab at the University of Pittsburgh is searching for a post-doc colleague to join our research team. Our mission is to develop innovative interventions and technologies to improve upper extremity function in individuals with stroke. We employ cutting-edge brain and peripheral nerve stimulation protocols to strengthen the neuroplastic mechanisms underlying motor recovery post-stroke. The ideal candidate would have a PhD in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Sciences, Engineering, Kinesiology, or a related field. The candidate should have experience in neurophysiology/biomechanics/motor control/programming and strong scientific writing skills. The PI will be transitioning to the University of Utah in July 2024, and the post-doc candidate is expected to continue working there. If interested, please email your recent CV and names of potential referees to Dr. Amit Sethi at asethi@pitt.edu.
