Postdoctoral Research Associate position at Human Performance and Neuroengineering Lab, Texas Tech University

We are looking for a postdoctoral research associate to join our Human Performance and Neuroengineering Lab at Texas Tech University in the Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering. The yearly salary is $55,000 + fringe benefit. We provide great opportunities and a very collegial, nurturing environment to work collaboratively with faculty and students intramurally as well as extramurally. The applicant should have a Ph.D. degree in mechanical engineering, industrial & systems engineering, bio-/biomedical engineering, or a related discipline.

• Experience with finite element simulation and OpenSim biomechanical modeling is given the topmost priority, but an applicant should be comfortable with directing Ph.D. and M.S. students to write manuscripts in top-tier journals in the fields of biomechanics and impact engineering.
• Individuals who aspire to pursue a career in academia are particularly encouraged to apply.
• Candidates who can join by May 2024 would also be prioritized.
• Candidates must be self-motivated, have a strong work ethic and excellent verbal and written communication skills. He or she must be immediately eligible to work.
