The AI-Powered Athletics project is a collaboration between the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering (HWCOE) and the University Athletics Association (UAA). The project aims to build the infrastructure and interdisciplinary relationships needed to bring AI-Powered Athletics to the field, lab, and classroom. The initial phase of the project will focus on data curation. The research faculty will play a key role in managing, analyzing, and utilizing the data to benefit team performance, support student-athlete health and well-being, and enable scientific and educational research.
