  • Funded Postdoctoral Fellowship (Queen's University - Kingston, Ontario, Canada)

    Calling PhD grads! The Sensorimotor Exploration Lab at Queen's University (Kingston, ON) is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to join the lab! This opportunity will be funded through the York University and Queen's University Connected Minds program. Connected Minds aims to explore the intersection and interconnection of the program's pillars: society, neuroscience, and AI/technology. Possible project topics include: neural mechanisms underlying postural control, using robot-assisted movement to improve cognitive function, and understanding the role of the brain-spine connectome in the planning and control of goal-directed actions.

    Connected Minds awards are supported by the Canada First Research Excellence Fund (CFREF). This award includes: $60k/year for 2 years plus benefits and $8500 for research & networking allowance/year for 2 years.

    The expected start date is Summer or Fall 2024. Individuals with a PhD in kinesiology, physical education, neuroscience, health science, or engineering are encouraged to apply. Both International and Canadian candidates are welcome!

    The Connected Minds application is due on May 3rd, 2024, so we invite candidates to contact us early to get the application started.
