    Dr. Wei Yin’s Lab in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at NJIT is seeking two funded PhD students, starting in Spring or Fall 2025.
    At Dr. Yin’s Lab, we aim to understand the underlying neuromusculoskeletal mechanisms of human-exoskeleton interaction through the integration of digital human modeling and artificial intelligence. We are also interested in applying our approaches to facilitate the design and development of wearable assistive devices to enhance human mobility and health.     Position requirements:
    • A recent bachelor's or master's degree (preferred) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, or other related engineering disciplines
    • Prior experience in human motion analysis and artificial intelligence is preferred
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
