  • Consulting position in injury causation and biomechanics

    Applications are invited from engineering graduates, particularly mechanical and/or biomedical, for consulting positions at Injury Biomechanics and Causation, LLC.

    An ideal candidate is as follows:
    • has experience and/or particular interests in traumatic injury biomechanics and/or accident reconstruction;
    • has working knowledge of the laws of physics, solid mechanics, and kinematics theory;
    • is self-starting, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work;
    • has the ability to work under minimal supervision; and
    • has excellent interpersonal communication skills and work habits.

    Responsibilities include performing original research, literature review, review of case material, accident reconstruction, and report preparation. Applicants should submit their CV, contact information for three references, and a statement of research interests and career goals. The research statement should highlight previous work experiences that prepare the candidate for the aforementioned responsibilities.
