We seek students to fill openings in our graduate teaching assistant rotation starting Fall 2025 in the WWU Department of Health and Human Development, Kinesiology program (Link to the application process). Students are expected to enroll in the Exercise Science Option, Thesis Track (more details here). Students will be able to explore a variety of research interests in both biomechanics and exercise physiology. Potential areas for teaching assistantships include 1) biomechanics, 2) exercise physiology, 3) functional anatomy, 4) neuromotor, and 5) human anatomy/physiology. The application deadline for Fall 2025 is January 15th, 2025. However, this is a rolling deadline and will be open until June 1st, 2025. Teaching assistantships will be given priority to students who meet the January application deadline. Please visit our Biomechanics lab website for more details on lab equipment and spaces.
